Who are the Red Dragons? (Rules and Philosophy)

The Red Dragons are a World of Warcraft guild. We play Alliance on the US Medivh server. The Red Dragons have existed through all of World of Warcraft, and originated in the game Earth and Beyond. While only a handful of original members remain, we strive to maintain the family values the guild was founded on.

The Red Dragons raid casually on the weekends, Friday-Sunday. Attendance is not mandatory, but participation in guild events and raids is encouraged. We use a Loot Council system to distribute loot. This system allows us to recognize the efforts and support of guild members, without depriving anyone of loot.

Guild Rules

1) Members must always follow the World of Warcraft Terms of Service.

2) Respect your fellow guild mates and players. This is very important and essential to have a fun, enjoyable, and supportive guild. Please be aware that although you might not find a remark or complaint offensive, other players might. Respect should also be shown everyone outside the guild, since they are our fellow players, and each member's actions reflect upon the guild No begging, no demanding, and no whining. "Please" and "Thank you" can go a long way. We expect all our members to maintain a level of maturity and decency that makes others think well of our guild.

3) Support the guild. Helping your guildmates helps the guild. The support and helpfulness we show to our members is a key aspect of who we are as a guild. Each member should put into this guild as much as they take out. Be as willing to help others as others have been to help you, or more so. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it, and don’t be afraid of giving help if asked.

4) Insults and inappropriate language are prohibited. This extends to all players in all channels and discussions on the forums.

5) Guild issues and problems should be reported to the Guild Councilors. All Councilors can assist with any guild problem in a considerate and timely manner. If an officer is not present, please mail them with a report of the issue. Members should not take their own action against other players.

6) A spirit of fairness will be preserved among the guild at all times. This includes fairness in the formation of raids and the distribution of loot. All efforts will be made by all players to make all dealings as fair and just as possible.

7) Members who remain inactive for a one month period may be kicked out of the guild. All members must remain active players within the guild. If a member will be gone for an extended period of item, he / she should report to the Guild Lord or a Councilor before their absence.

8) If you wish to find another guild we appreciate being notified of your intentions. It is understandable that you may wish to find a home somewhere else in the game. We ask for only respect, and will gladly put in a good word for you if we choose to do so.

9) Failure to abide by these rules may result in a warning, loss of guild privileges, or removal from the guild.
