Raids

The Red Dragons currently raid Naxxramas, The Obsidian Sanctum, and the Eye of Eternity on normal mode. We are looking to expand our guild ranks and raid the Heroic/25 Player versions of these dungeons.

We raid Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from approximately 8:00pm EST to 12:00pm EST. Raids may end earlier at the discretion of the Raid Leader. We expect members to come prepared for an evenings raids with money for repairs, reagents for buffs, and consumables. When possible supplies may be used from the Guild Vault, distributed by a guild officer.

We distribute loot using a Loot Council system. When an item drops that you are interested in you will need to send a tell to a designated person. The Raid Leader will announce who to send tells to for what items. The window of opportunity to send tells is small, so get your tell in as soon as possible. If the item is only a small upgrade for you and you would like to receive it only before it is disenchanted, or if the item is for offspec, you will need to communicate this to the person you send a tell. Simply sending the word "Last", "Offspec", "Sidegrade", etc are all perfectly acceptable. The Loot Council distributes gear first to Tanks and Healers so the raid as a whole can progress. The loot council considers a variety of points when deciding on loot. Including but not limited to: Attendance, Performance, Current Gear, Class, Spec, and more. We strive to distribute loot in the most fair way possible. Attending raids and performing well is rewarded, but any member who attends raids and wants an item will get loot. You may not get every item you want, but you will get gear.

It is essential that every member who raids with us be prepared for new content. We are not a bleeding edge guild, but succeeding is important to everyone. Reading up on new boss fights, watching videos, and maintaining appropriate gear and talent spec are critical to the success of the guild.
